§ 12-3405 — Same; area of jurisdiction

Kansas·Ch. 12 CITIES AND MUNICIPALITIES·Art. 34 PORT AUTHORITIES
The area of jurisdiction of a port authority created in accordance with K.S.A. 12-3402, and amendments thereto, shall include all of the territory of the city or county, or combination thereof, comprising it, together with any other property outside thereof conveyed to it, or over which it exercises control pursuant to subsection (a) of K.S.A. 12-3406, and amendments thereto, or pursuant to the right of eminent domain set forth in subsection (g) of K.S.A. 12-3406, and amendments thereto, except that in no case shall the same area be included in more than one port authority, but the jurisdiction of the port authority first attaching shall be exclusive unless the first attaching shall cede or convey to another.
