Said notices shall specify a day not more than ten days from the date of such notices in which the owners shall file a notice with the city clerk of their intention to file such plat, and if no notice of intention shall be so filed within the time so specified, the mayor shall proceed to cause a plat of said territory to be made, acknowledged and recorded as above provided.
