§ 12-2718 — Cities of less than 200,000 population; agreements with federal or state agencies for municipal water supply and recreational areas
Any city having a population of less than two hundred thousand (200,000) is hereby authorized and empowered to contract with the United States of America or an agency or instrumentality thereof, or with the state of Kansas or any instrumentality or political subdivision of the state, for the furnishing of, or the construction and equipping of, a municipal water supply or a recreational area and facilities, or both water supply and recreational area and facilities, for such contracting city from water storage and distribution facilities constructed by the United States of America or any agency or instrumentality thereof, or with the state of Kansas or any instrumentality or political subdivision thereof, whether said water storage be on land owned or flowage easement or other easement owned
