§ 12-1739a — Bonds and proceedings under K.S.A. 12-1736 et seq. validated

Kansas·Ch. 12 CITIES AND MUNICIPALITIES·Art. 17 BUILDINGS, STRUCTURES AND GROUNDS
Any city of the second class which has, pursuant to K.S.A. 12-1736 et seq., authorized the issuance of general obligation bonds of the city for the alteration, repair, reconstruction, remodeling, replacement or making of additions to and furnishing and equipment of a city auditorium, and community or recreational building and which has held a bond election therefor prior to November 3, 1976, at which a majority of the qualified electors voting on the proposition voted in favor of the issuance of bonds for such purpose in an amount not to exceed six hundred thousand dollars ($600,000), is hereby authorized to issue such bonds notwithstanding the fact that an insufficient number of notices of such election were published to meet the requirements of the general bond law.
