§ 12-1669 — Submission of budgets to county commissioners by certain taxing districts in urban area counties

Kansas·Ch. 12 CITIES AND MUNICIPALITIES·Art. 16 MISCELLANEOUS PROVISIONS
In addition to the procedures and requirements now provided by law for the approval and adoption of budgets, the authorizing of tax levies and the making of capital improvements by township fire protection districts, county library systems, county park districts and mental health centers located in any county designated by statute as an urban area, the governing board of any such district, system or center shall, prior to the final adoption of its budget, or the authorizing of any tax levy or capital improvement, submit the same to and receive the approval of the board of county commissioners of such county.
