§ 12-16,221 — Regulations or restrictions on sale or use of motor vehicles by state agencies, cities or counties prohibited; exception

Kansas·Ch. 12 CITIES AND MUNICIPALITIES·Art. 16 MISCELLANEOUS PROVISIONS
(a)No state agency, city or county shall regulate or restrict the use or sale of motor vehicles by the public based on the energy source used to power a motor vehicle, including propulsion or for powering other functions of the motor vehicle.
(b)The restriction in subsection (a) does not affect any policy established by a state agency or a municipality for the purchase of vehicles for use by a state agency or a municipality.
(c)"Municipality" means the same as defined in K.S.A. 75-6102, and amendments thereto.
