Text
At the first regular city election following the adoption of the provisions of this act by the electors of the city, the member of the council elected at large receiving the greatest number of votes shall hold office for a term of four (4) years and the other two (2) members of the council elected at large shall hold office for terms of two (2) years. Of the members of the council elected by districts, those members elected from districts 1 and 3 shall hold office for terms of four (4) years and those members elected from districts 2 and 4 shall hold office for terms of two (2) years. The mayor shall hold office for a term of four (4) years.
