Text

(a)A certificate of title is valid for as long as the vehicle for which the certificate of title has been issued is owned or held by the person who originally held the certificate of title.
(b)A certificate of title does not have to be renewed except as otherwise provided. [Pre-1991 Recodification Citation: 9-1-2-1(g) part.]
