Text
(a)This chapter applies to an event held by a
qualified organization:
(1)under:
(A)IC 7.1-3-6.1, at which donated alcoholic beverages are
awarded as prizes; or
(B)IC 7.1-3-6.2, at which donated alcoholic beverages are
auctioned off;
for consumption off the premises; or
(2)at which alcoholic beverages that are donated to the qualified
organization are served and consumed on the premises during the
event.
(b)The requirements imposed by this chapter on a donation to a
qualified organization that is a permittee do not apply if a donation is
made to a qualified organization that is not a permittee. Nothing in this
chapter prevents a permittee from making a donation to a person that
is not a permittee.
