§ 7.1-2-5-17 — Conduct of sale
Indiana·Art. 2 ALCOHOL AND TOBACCO COMMISSION AND·Ch. 5 Remedies: Searches, Seizures, Property Rights,
Property ordered sold by a court under the
provisions of section 14 or 15 of this chapter shall be sold by the
chairman at public auction in any county in which he may deem it most
advantageous to sell the property. The chairman shall give one (1)
week's notice of the sale prior to the sale. The notice shall be published
in the county seat of the county in which the sale is to be made.
Property which has a commercial value and which may be lawfully
purchased may be sold to any person. The proceeds of the sale, after
deducting necessary costs and charges, including fees for publication,
and payment of liens shall be paid to the chairman for deposit under IC 7.1-4-10-3.
