Text
Property described in section 1 of this chapter
that is greater than ten dollars ($10) in value must be advertised in a
newspaper of the county, if there be one, and if not, in a paper in
Indiana nearest the county where the property was found. The clerk
shall forward to the printer a copy of the register that is marked on the
outside, "Stray Property," together with a fee of one dollar ($1) out of
which the printer shall pay postage.
