Text

If found property is sold or reclaimed, the finder is allowed just and reasonable compensation for keeping the property as determined by the court with jurisdiction where the property was initially found. The finder shall:

(1)keep account of the time a stray animal is kept by the finder; and
(2)state the time to the court under oath. [Pre-2002 Recodification Citation: 32-9-3-16.]
