Text

(a)The attorney general shall give notice to an apparent owner that property presumed abandoned and appearing to be owned by the apparent owner is held by the attorney general under this chapter by maintaining a website or data base accessible by the public and electronically searchable which contains the names reported to the attorney general of all apparent owners for whom property valued at ten dollars ($10) or more is being held by the attorney general.
(b)The website or data base maintained under subsection (a) must include instructions for filing with the attorney general a claim to property and a printable claim form with instructions for its use.
