Text
(a)In a suit brought in a court of Indiana to:
(1)foreclose a mortgage or other lien on real estate located in
Indiana; or
(2)sell real estate located in Indiana;
if the plaintiff is required to make a person a party to the suit, the
plaintiff may list the person as a defendant by the name in which the
person's lien or claim appears on the public records of the county in
which the suit is brought.
(b)Service of summons or notice by publication to the person,
described in subsection (a) is sufficient to make the court's judgment
binding as to the person.
