Text
As used in this chapter, "public official" means an individual who holds office or formerly held office at any time during the preceding four (4) years in the executive, judicial, or legislative branch of:
(1)the state or a political subdivision (as defined in IC 5-11-10.5-1); or
(2)the federal government;
in Indiana.
