Text
(a)As used in this chapter, "financial
institution" means any organization authorized to do business in
Indiana under IC 28 or federal law relating to financial institutions.
(b)The term includes the following:
(1)Banks and trust companies.
(2)Building and loan associations.
(3)Industrial loan and investment companies.
(4)Savings banks.
(5)Credit unions.
