Text
(a)This section does not apply to a man
whose paternity is established under this article (or IC 31-6-6.1 before
its repeal) before the filing of a petition to adopt the man's child.
(b)A man who files or is a party to a paternity action under this
article shall register with the putative father registry under IC 31-19-5
within the period provided under IC 31-19-5-12.
