§ 26-2-8-203 — Interoperability

Standards adopted by a governmental agency under section 202 of this chapter must encourage and promote consistency and interoperability with similar requirements adopted by:
(1)other governmental agencies;
(2)other states;
(3)the federal government; and
(4)nongovernmental persons interacting with governmental
agencies.
If appropriate, those standards must specify differing levels of
standards from which governmental agencies may choose in
implementing the most appropriate standard for a particular
application.
