Text
(a)The total amount of the liability of the
renter or other authorized driver to the rental company for damage
occurring during the rental period may not exceed the amount of the
renter's liability under section 14 of this chapter.
(b)A rental company may not recover from the renter or other
authorized driver an amount exceeding the renter's liability under
section 14 of this chapter.
(c)A rental company may not recover from the renter or other
authorized driver for any item described in section 13 of this chapter to
the extent that the rental company obtains recovery for that item from
another person.
