§ 24-4-24-5 — "Genetic data"
As used in this chapter, "genetic data" means any data, regardless of format, that:
(1)results from the analysis of an individual's biological material,
including analysis of:
(A)the complete DNA;
(B)regions of the DNA;
(C)chromosomes;
(D)genes; or
(E)gene products; and
(2)concerns an individual's genetic characteristics.
The term does not include deidentified data.
