§ 24-4-11-7 — "Industrial hygiene" defined

As used in this chapter, "industrial hygiene" means the science and practice of anticipating, recognizing, evaluating, and controlling the environmental factors and stresses arising in or from the workplace that may cause sickness, impaired health and well-being, or significant discomfort among workers and the general community.
