Text
(a)A person who violates this chapter is
liable for a civil penalty equal to the greater of:
(1)five (5) times the value of the cigarettes involved in the
violation; or
(2)one thousand dollars ($1,000).
(b)A civil penalty under this section is in addition to any other
penalty imposed.
