Text

(a)Except as provided in subsection (b), an individual who moves from another state may provide documentation from:
(1)a physician;
(2)a psychiatrist;
(3)a social worker; or
(4)another mental health professional; licensed in that state, so long as the individual has an ongoing treatment relationship with the health service provider.
(b)This section excludes a health service provider whose sole service to the individual is to provide a verification letter in exchange for a fee.
