An occupational safety standards commission is created within the department to promulgate, modify, or revoke safety and health standards in Indiana and to hear and determine applications for temporary and permanent variances from those standards. Formerly: Acts 1971, P.L.356, SEC.1; Acts 1973, P.L.241, SEC.6. As amended by P.L.37-1985, SEC.34.
