(a)Except as provided in section 5.5 of this chapter, eligible employees must be trained, hired, and retained for at least six (6) months by the employer. If an eligible employee separates from employment with the employer that provided the training in order to accept employment with another employer before the end of the six
(6)month period, the retention requirement is waived.
(b)Eligible employment must be in one (1) of the following sectors:
(1)Manufacturing.
(2)Technology business services.
(3)Transportation and logistics.
(4)Health sciences.
(5)Building and construction.
(6)Agriculture.
(7)Teaching.
