Text
(a)An application for an agent's permit
must be granted or denied by the department not more than fifteen (15)
working days after the receipt of the application. If the department has
not completed a determination with respect to the issuance of a permit
under this section within the fifteen (15) working day period, the
department shall issue a temporary permit to the applicant. The
temporary permit is sufficient to meet the requirements of this chapter
until a determination is made on the application.
(b)A permit issued under this chapter may, upon ten (10) days
notice and after a hearing, be revoked by the department:
(1)if the holder of the permit solicits or enrolls students through
fraud, deception, or misrepresentation; or
(2)upon a finding that the permit holder is not of good m
