§ 22-4.1-21-20 — Investigation
(a)Upon receipt of an application for
authorization under this chapter, the department shall make an
investigation to determine the accuracy of the statements in the
application to determine if the postsecondary proprietary educational
institution meets the minimum standards for authorization.
(b)During the investigation under subsection (a), the department
may grant a temporary status of authorization. The temporary status of
authorization is sufficient to meet the requirements of this chapter until
a determination on authorization is made.
