Text

In cases of the death of an employee from an occupational disease arising out of and in the course of the employee's employment under circumstances that the employee would have been entitled to compensation if death had not resulted, the employer shall pay the burial expenses of such employee, not exceeding ten thousand dollars ($10,000).
