Text

(a)When the aggregate payments of compensation, awarded by agreement or upon hearing to an employee or dependent under eighteen (18) years of age, do not exceed one hundred dollars ($100), the payment thereof may be made directly to such employee or dependent, except when the worker's compensation board shall order otherwise.
(b)Whenever the aggregate payments of compensation, due to any person under eighteen (18) years of age, exceed one hundred dollars ($100), the payment thereof shall be made to a trustee, appointed by the circuit or superior court, or to a duly qualified guardian, or to a parent upon the order of the worker's compensation board. The payment of compensation, due to any person eighteen (18) years of age or over, may be made directly to such person. Formerly: Acts 1929,
