Text
(a)The department and its authorized
inspectors and agents:
(1)shall enforce this chapter and ensure that all violators are
prosecuted; and
(2)may visit and inspect, at all reasonable hours and when as
practicable and necessary, all establishments affected by this
chapter.
(b)It is unlawful for any person to interfere with, obstruct, or hinder
any inspector or agent of the department while the inspector or agent
performs official duties or to refuse to properly answer questions asked
by an inspector or agent of the department.
(c)When requested in writing by the department, the attorney
general shall assist the prosecuting attorney in the prosecution of
persons charged with a violation of this chapter.
