Text

A contractor or subcontractor proposing to convert a residential property from heating oil to another heat source shall inform the property owner of the requirements of this chapter and include in a contract for labor and materials the cost of:

(1)properly removing and disposing of all flammable or combustible liquids from a heating oil tank; and
(2)either:
(A)removing an outside filling pipe; or
(B)permanently securing the tank against accidental filling.
