Text
(a)The rules required by this chapter must
include the following requirements:
(1)In all hotels, motels, and buildings containing three (3) or
more sleeping rooms that rent for a fee, an emergency sign must
be permanently affixed to the back of each guestroom or room
door and by the entrance to a required exitway where there is an
interior door with corridors to the exitway.
(2)In all apartments covered by this chapter, an emergency sign
must be permanently affixed in a prominent location.
(b)The emergency signs required by subsection (a) must contain the
following information:
(1)Instructions on practical emergency procedures in case of fire
or other emergency.
(2)In hotels, motels, and buildings containing three (3) or more
