Text

(a)The Indiana geological and water survey is established as a part of Indiana University.
(b)The head of the survey is the state geologist.
(c)The survey is under the direction and control of the board of trustees of Indiana University to:
(1)continue the geological, hydrogeological, and scientific survey of Indiana;
(2)continue the work of discovering, developing, and preserving the water, mineral, and energy resources of Indiana; and
