Text

The board of trustees may enter into:

(1)an agreement with:
(A)the fire chief of a municipality or of a volunteer fire department;
(B)the state fire marshal; or
(C)another appropriate fire and emergency service agency official; to establish additional operational authority where property or persons to be protected are located; and
(2)an interlocal cooperation agreement under IC 36-1-7 to supply and receive fire suppression, fire prevention, emergency response, and emergency medical services.
