§ 21-38-1-11 — "First steps program"
Indiana·Title 21 HIGHER EDUCATION·Art. 38 STATE EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS:·Ch. 1 General Provisions; Definitions
"First steps program" means the program established under IC 12-12.7-2 and 20 U.S.C. 1431 et seq. to meet the needs of:
(1)children who are eligible for early intervention services; and
(2)families of children who are eligible for early intervention
services.
The term includes the coordination of all available federal, state, local,
and private resources available to provide early intervention services
within Indiana.
