§ 21-24-3-7 — Screening committee; student board membership; establishment
(a)There is established a screening committee
of the University of Southern Indiana for the purpose of nominating the
student member of the board of trustees.
(b)The screening committee consists of:
(1)four (4) students enrolled in the university who are appointed
by the student governing body designated by the board of trustees;
and
(2)one (1) individual appointed by the governor.
(c)Within seventy-five (75) days after the date that a vacancy
occurs on the board of trustees for the student member, the screening
committee shall submit a list of at least ten (10) names of eligible
individuals to a person designated by the board of trustees.
(d)When the names are received by the person designated by the
board of trustees, the designated person shall submit the names to the
governor.
