Text
The acceptance of an appointment by the
governor signifies that the appointee will give the appointee's best
efforts to the interests of Purdue University and that the appointee will
regularly attend the meetings of the board of trustees. The secretary of
the board of trustees shall report the attendance of each meeting of the
board of trustees to the governor. If a member is absent for two (2)
consecutive meetings without sufficient excuse, it shall be considered
sufficient cause for the governor to ask for the resignation of the
member.
