§ 21-17-6-8 — Grant application

Indiana·Title 21 HIGHER EDUCATION·Art. 17 POSTSECONDARY PROPRIETARY·Ch. 6 Participation in Urban Renewal
(a)For purposes of administering an approved redevelopment plan, a qualified entity is designated as a redevelopment agency to apply for and receive:
(1)grants under Title 1 of the Housing Act of 1949 (42 U.S.C. 1452b et seq.), as amended; and
(2)all available federal grants that are available for the project area.
(b)If a qualified entity:
(1)acquired before March 4, 1961, from a redevelopment commission all or part of lands included within a redevelopment project that was undertaken before March 4, 1961, by a redevelopment commission under IC 36-7; and
(2)has redeveloped the lands described in subdivision (1) for educational purposes; the qualified entity is designated the redevelopment agency to receive grants under Title 1 of the Housing Act of 1949 (42 U.S.C. 1452b et seq.), as
