§ 21-12-8-10 — Amount of grant; high value workforce ready credit-bearing grant

(a)The amount of a high value workforce
ready credit-bearing grant under section 9 of this chapter is equal to
one (1) of the following:
(1)If the applicant does not receive financial assistance,
excluding loans, the amount is equal to the educational costs (as
defined in IC 21-7-13-14) of the institution that the applicant is
attending.
(2)If the applicant receives financial assistance, excluding loans,
the amount is equal to the educational costs (as defined in IC 21-7-13-14) of the institution that the applicant is attending minus
the financial assistance received by the applicant.
(b)An applicant may use the high value workforce ready
credit-bearing grant only to pay the educational costs (as defined by IC 21-7-13-14) of courses required for the applicant's certificate program.
