§ 16-46-14-2 — Safety PIN grant fund established; nonreversion; transfer of money appropriated to the fund

(a)The safety PIN (protecting Indiana's
newborns) grant fund is established for the purpose of distributing
money for the improving birth outcomes grant program. The fund shall
be administered by the state department.
(b)The fund consists of:
(1)money appropriated for the program or to the fund by the
general assembly;
(2)money received from state or federal grants or programs; and
(3)gifts, money, and donations received from any other source,
including transfers from other funds or accounts.
(c)The expenses of administering the fund shall be paid from
money in the fund.
(d)The treasurer of state shall invest the money in the fund not
currently needed to meet the obligations of the fund in the same
manner as other public money may be invested. Interest that accrues
