§ 16-18-2-1 — "Abortion"

Indiana·Title 16 HEALTH·Art. 18 GENERAL PROVISIONS AND DEFINITIONS·Ch. 2 Definitions
"Abortion" means the termination of human pregnancy with an intention other than to produce a live birth or to remove a dead fetus. The term includes abortions by surgical procedures and by abortion inducing drugs. [Pre-1993 Recodification Citation: 35-1-58.5-1(b).]
