§ 16-46-10-3 — Use of funds; limitations on capital expenditures; reporting; posting of positions
(a)Funding provided a local board of health
under section 2.2 or 2.3 of this chapter may be used by the local board
to provide any of the following services:
(1)Core public health services.
(2)Any statutorily required actions for a local health department.
(3)Evidence based programs to prevent or reduce the prevalence
of health issues or improve the health and behavioral health of
Indiana residents as outlined in the plan described in IC 16-30-3-2.
(b)Money granted a local board of health from the local public
health fund may not be used for any purpose other than for the services
listed in this section.
(c)A county may not use more than ten percent (10%) of the funds
received under section 2.2 or 2.3 of this chapter during a fiscal year for
capital expenditures, including:
