1.

(a)The state department shall provide funding each year from the local public health fund to each local board of health in accordance with this chapter.
(b)If a county has more than one (1) local health department, the state department shall determine the county's share of funding and distribute the funds to the county.
(c)For purposes of determining the amount of funding in the case of a multiple county board of health, the state department shall regard each county as a separate county.
(d)A local board of health may only receive funding under section 2.2 or 2.3 of this chapter. Funding received under this chapter must be deposited in the county's local public health services fund established under section 1.5 of this chapter.
