§ 16-42-3-1 — Antibiotic drug defined

Indiana·Title 16 HEALTH·Art. 42 REGULATION OF FOOD, DRUGS, AND·Ch. 3 Uniform Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act: Adulteration
As used in this chapter, "antibiotic drug" means any drug intended for use by man containing any quantity of any chemical substance that is produced by microorganisms and that has the capacity to inhibit or destroy microorganisms in dilute solution, including the chemically synthesized equivalent of the substance.
