§ 16-41-32-5 — Bedding

Indiana·Title 16 HEALTH·Art. 41 PUBLIC HEALTH MEASURES FOR THE·Ch. 32 Regulation of Lodging Facilities and Bedding

As used in this chapter, "bedding" means any mattress, mattress pad, mattress protector pad, box spring, upholstered spring, upholstered sofa bed, quilted pad, comforter, bolster, cushion, pillow, featherbed, sleeping bag, or any other bag, case, or covering that meets the following conditions:

(1)Is made of leather, textile, or other material.
(2)Is stuffed or filled with any soft material or substance.
(3)Is designed or made for sleeping or reclining purposes or that is an integral part of a bed or couch or other device used for sleeping or reclining purposes. [Pre-1993 Recodification Citation: 16-9-4-2(a).]
