Text

When death occurs outside Indiana and the body is accompanied by a burial transit permit issued where death occurred, the permit authorizes transportation into Indiana. Before burial, cremation, or other disposal of the body the local health officer shall endorse and keep a record of the permit. [Pre-1993 Recodification Citation: 16-1-17-11.]
