§ 16-37-3-1 — "Dead body" defined
Indiana·Title 16 HEALTH·Art. 37 VITAL STATISTICS·Ch. 3 Certificates of Death and Stillbirth; Burial Permits
As used in this chapter, "dead body" means a
lifeless human body or parts or bones of the human body from the
condition of which it reasonably may be concluded that death recently
occurred.
