§ 16-37-3-1 — "Dead body" defined

As used in this chapter, "dead body" means a lifeless human body or parts or bones of the human body from the condition of which it reasonably may be concluded that death recently occurred. [Pre-1993 Recodification Citation: 16-1-15-2(4).]
