§ 16-37-2-14 — Duties of health officer regarding paternity affidavit
If a paternity affidavit executed under section 2.1 of this chapter is filed with a local health officer, the local health officer shall do the following:
(1)Correct the local record of birth by adding the name of the
father to the certificate of birth.
(2)File a copy of the affidavit with the report required by IC 16-37-1-6.
