§ 16-36-7-20 — "Proxy"
As used in this chapter, "proxy" means a competent adult who:
(1)has not been expressly designated in a declaration to make
health care decisions for a particular incapacitated individual; and
(2)is authorized and willing to make health care decisions for the
individual under section 42 of this chapter.
