Text

(a)This chapter may not be construed to modify or alter any applicable laws, ethics, standards, or protocols for the practice of medicine or nursing, including section 19 of this chapter concerning euthanasia.
(b)A POST form may not be construed to compel or authorize a health care provider or health care facility to administer medical treatment that is medically inappropriate or prohibited by state or federal law.
